Mukti Bosco

Mukti is the Secretary of Healing Fields Foundation. At Healing Fields, after extensive surveys and discussions with various insurers, Mukti along with Mr. Nimish Parekh, launched the unique insurance linked health care delivery model as one of the alternate healthcare financing mechanism and successfully piloted the model. The model has gained enormous goodwill and has been recognized as one of the most promising models for improving health care access to the poor.
Under guidance of Mukti and Nimish, among the other significant achievements, Healing Fields Foundation has been short-listed as one of the three finalists for the Best Service Provider of the Year of 9th Asia Insurance Industry Awards 2005.
She also serves on the IRDA sub committee on development of Micro Health Insurance in India. Has been on the consultative committees of various Micro Health Insurance related programmes.
Mukti K Bosco has graduated in Occupational Therapy from Christian Medical College & Hospital, Vellore. Mukti has also done her Masters in Health Care Management in Administrative Staff College of India with Johns Hopkins University.
