Rupalee Ruchismita

Rupalee as a passout of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences has worked
with the Social Initiatives Group(SIG), a grant and research making group
within ICICI Bank since the past three years.

She has been with the micro finance team of SIG which aims at Financial
Inclusion and works on : developing channels and products for the vulnerable
population and also in enagaging in advocacy to influence policy of the
regulators in the financial space.

She has been involved in developing catclytic sectoral infrastructure in the
micro finance space to ensure sustainable development of the overall sector.

In the space of insurance, she has been involved in developing multiple
health insurance products. Presently, she is working on developing health
financing products which would create better health infrastructure.

Presently she is the Coordinator of the Centre for Insurance and Risk
Management, which is developing micro insurance products for the underserved
in collaboration with with technical groups, reinsurance and insurance
companies, universities and community based organisations.
