Ralf Radermacher

Mr. Ralf Radermacher graduated in economics at the University of Cologne; he also studied political science at the University of Hagen and African Studies in Birmingham (UK). Ralf is a PhD student, employed in Cologne University as research and teaching assistant in the fields of health insurance for the poor, self-help promotion and co-operatives. He is the coordinator of the EU-funded project “Strengthening Micro Health Insurance Units for the Poor in India” and works as consultant for Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) in micro insurance related aspects. In 2003 he completed a research internship of 3 months with GTZ (Pune, India) on micro health insurance in the Pune District.
