Student Project

The project “Strengthening Micro Health Insurance Units for the Poor in India” includes an educational and capacity-building component. We shall organize extensive discussion and research in India at the end of 2005 or the beginning of 2006, with the participation of thirty post-graduate students. Ten Indian students from the Birla Institute for Management Technology (BIMTECH), ten Dutch students from the Erasmus University Rotterdam and ten German students from the University of Cologne will be encouraged to contribute by writing their Master thesis on topics pertaining to the project. We will also organize common teaching modules and distance teaching, to reach students at three institutions in the three countries concerned.
